Vivace!’s concert on Sunday 22
November was another wonderful performance and was warmly
applauded by the audience – the choir was left in no doubt about
the appreciation of their efforts. As in the two previous
concerts, we were treated to a mix of music, including several
African numbers, and both the choir itself and the solo artists
seem to be even more accomplished than before.
Unfortunately the weather on that evening
was simply terrible, so, even though we had good support from
local PAGEANT members, the audience was rather smaller than on
previous occasions. Despite that, the evening was most enjoyable
and the interval refreshments went down as well as ever.
The evening was, as last year, organised
on behalf of Pageant by the Southwater Parochial Church Council
and we thank Stephen and Pat Chapman in particular for all their
hard work. The concert raised £191.53 for Pageant after paying
all expenses.
