The annual Pageant summer
get-together was held in the garden of Pippa and Ian's
house in Southwater near Horsham in Sussex, on Sunday 19 July 2015.
A total of 45 people attended, including 2 small children and 2
'non-eaters'. We enjoyed an excellent buffet lunch which
included three Gambian dishes, as well as well tried British favourites. There was a raffle, with cushions made from
colourful Gambian
fabrics as prizes, and also a 'Gambian Market', where people could
buy a variety of hand-crafted items. Altogether we raised £521 from
the raffle, market sales and charges for the lunch. The weather was
just perfect, and everyone had a good time.
