How it Works

You probably shop online already, so here is a way to raise money for Pageant at the same time as you shop. Easyfundraising is a shopping directory with over 2000 online retailers on its list. These include some of your favourite online stores, as shown by the logos on the 'wall' above. Each of these retailers makes a donation of a small percentage of the purchase price to Pageant, but it doesn't cost you an extra penny. As an extra bonus, many retailers offer additional discounts, and other savings, so you gain as well as Pageant.

Sign-up - First you need to register as a Pageant supporter - it's completely free!

1. Click on the 'Start Shopping' link above to go to Pageant's page on the Easyfundraising website.

2. Then click on the green box labelled 'Sign me up'

3. Fill in your details on the form. This will already have 'Pageant' entered as your cause at the top. You will be asked for a password, so work out something secure in advance. Click on the green box at the bottom labelled 'Register' - and it's all done.

Start Shopping and Raise Money - Once you have registered:

1. Click on the 'Start Shopping' link, and then click on 'sign in' at the top right.

2. Enter your email and password, and click the green 'Sign in' box.

3. Use the 'Search Box' to find a retailer. The retailers page will list the donations given to Pageant and any further discounts.

4. Click on a 'Go shopping' link to take you to the retailers website. If you haven't logged in yet, you will get the chance to do it here.

5. Continue with your shopping in the usual way, and pay on the retailer's site as usual.

Be alerted to retailers in the scheme

You may find an online retailer from a search or by following links. It would be nice if you could know if that retailer is in the Easyfundraising scheme. There is an add-on for both Internet Explorer and Firefox which will alert you when you start to shop, so Pageant won't miss out on any donation. Click on this link to install the add-on.

Raise money when you search

You can also raise funds for Pageant when you search the Web by using Easysearch. This  search engine combines the strengths of several search providers together – Yahoo!, MSN Windows Live Search, Ask.com and many more. Each time you do a search a small donation will be made to Pageant. Just 10 searches a day could raise £20 a year for Pageant.
