Monday 13 Feb Took Science
Kit to
Gambia SSS and saw microscope lab.
Read the story
of how the Science Kit was produced and donated by Joe Brock of
Collyer's.
Visited Saloum Nursery School and opened
new toilet block. Jackie and Vic gave books, posters etc. for classrooms.

writing in reply.

Returned to Gambia SSS, unpacked & explained
Science kit and arranged to give practical Physics lesson later in
trip.
Tuesday 14 Feb Got up at 5.15am, trip
across river to Bakalarr BCS. Long day at Bakalarr - welcome, singing,
dancing, breakfast, speeches, more dancing & singing, lunch,
presentation of gifts, inspection of projects, farewell speech. This
will be reported fully later on a separate page, but for now look at
the photos below. Called in at Essau SSS to see Science teacher re
Science kit, but she was not there. Saw sponsored boy and Ousman
Sowe.
